Drive your energy further™
Behind the Scenes
Sola-Drive® and Hydro-Drive™ were created to offer clients a solution that simultaneously reduces and fixes the cost of electricity, gas and transport via one simple contract – the Transport, Gas and Power Purchase Agreement (TGPPA™).
Solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, together with Hydrogen, as a fuel for both transportation and as an energy source to complement or replace traditional energy providers, has come of age. Our unique funding mechanism has removed the requirement for any Capital Expenditure on behalf of the client and therefore effectively removed the last barrier to sustainability.
The advances in hydrogen infrastructure networks, battery electric and fuel cell electric vehicles globally, coupled with the acceptance of the technology used in the production and storage of hydrogen, has seen early adoption migrate towards mass utilisation.
In addition to the patents that are jointly held with QUT, Sola-Drive® and Hydro-Drive™ also leverage the least cost power™ algorithm to identify the lowest cost power source for operations and instantaneously switches source to optimise cost.
Several innovations enabled the company to establish its current position: the development of commercial battery electric and fuel cell electric vehicles together with rapid response proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysers, building system artificial intelligence modules and enhanced efficiency solar PV systems all combined to provide the basic building blocks.
Subsequent development of the Sola-Drive® and HydroDrive™ patents in conjunction with QUT, that integrate and control the interaction of these building blocks (via the least cost power™ algorithm) with local embedded electricity and/or gas networks, battery electric and/or fuel cell electric vehicle fleets and the National Electricity Market, provided the overarching IP necessary to achieve these simultaneous savings.
To be a catalyst for the migration from fossil fuel consumption to sustainable clean energy.
